2Naturkinder
What a treat to work with the incredible wines of 2Naturkinder! These are compelling bottles that have long captured our imagination. Husband and wife team Michael and Melanie started the project in 2013 after returning to Michael's family farm in Franken, Germany (founded in 1843!). There they work seven hectares of land across two small valleys. Their meticulous vineyard work is done vine by vine from compost, tilling when needed, incorporating trees & homemade brews that minimize the amount of copper needed to fend off downy mildew! The result: moving wines we can't stop talking about. We are so pleased to welcome these shape-shifting, flavourful & zero-zero wines to the GW portfolio.
