Candy crush, sucrose blush, sugar rush! Residual sugar (RS) is a seriously underrated tool and the perfect balancing partner to high acidity. It brings thick, nectarous fruit flavours to the forefront & pairs with a myriad of foods (think spicy & sweet!). All wine colours can be left with RS, however you will mostly find sparklings, whites and rosés here. For those whose favourite holiday is still Halloween, could never part with their 1967 edition of ‘Candyland’ & who enjoy eating dessert BEFORE (or instead of) dinner.
